Hi @eshellman good day, for us siblings (@petemadis, @cjjp-sushi) if you label the language of the Filipinos you can just use the .fil (Filipino). Tagalog is where the Filipino language was derived from, lets just say the Tagalog language is the old version and the Filipino language is the new version. In a sense, the Filipino language is just an upgraded 2.0 version of Tagalog. Filipino is the national language of the Philippines. Are "Tagalog," "Pilipino" and "Filipino" different languages? No, they are mutually intelligible varieties, and therefore belong to one language. |
